Slide About Us

Rajani and Rani have careers spanning 30+ years each. In those years, they saw many educated and experienced women leave the workforce for various reasons – marriage, motherhood, childcare, eldercare etc. They noticed that over time, it became difficult for these women to re-enter the world of work and thus their companies lost out on significant talent, energy, and ideas.

They thought…
What if there is a way to accommodate a woman’s need for flexibility that supports her “evolving life circumstances”? Maybe she can work only part-time, maybe she is uncomfortable with a 2-hour commute, maybe she wants a job that she is sure will allow her to leave at a time dictated by her children’s school schedule or her mother’s companion’s schedule.

Could they create an environment that helps a woman on a career break upskill herself, rebuild her confidence and position her experience appropriately. Could they enable her to monetise her education and thereby prevent the loss of talent from across the educated, experienced and energetic women of India.

And… while preventing the loss of human capital from across the educated, experienced, and energetic women of India, could this also address the talent crunch that India Inc faces? Thus, was born indePenn Connections.
